Doubleheader at Pocono

In this episode, we talk about a first for the NASCAR Cup series - a doubleheader at Pocono Raceway. The top 3 performers for the weekend were Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, and Aric Almirola. Mom, Dad, and Sebas are all tied up with our Let’s Go Racing Family RACE PICKS.

This week’s 6 Degrees of NASCAR featured our oldest celebrity, Mickey Mouse. We continue the Racing Through Life segment, by discussing NASCAR’s reaction to the incident at Talladega involving Bubba Wallace.

(33:00) Racing Through Life - NASCAR and Bubba Wallace did not deserve the backlash they’ve received. We need to rally behind a movement with the intent of inclusivity and fairness.

About the Podcast

Let's Go Racing Family Podcast
A family podcast dedicated to our view of life through the lens of racing and NASCAR.
The Let's Go Racing Family Podcast is about our love of NASCAR, travel, and just being a family. Our family includes Mom, Dad, and our three boys (Sebastian, Gio, and Johann).

We thought a podcast would be cool way for us to share our own opinions and tell our own stories.

We have different show formats that will alternate throughout the season (Race Recaps and Let's Go Racing Family Xtras). Race Recap episodes will feature our family discussing story lines from previous races. The Xtra episodes, will feature more variety segments, such as "6 Degrees of NASCAR - connecting pop-culture to NASCAR in less than 6 degrees of separation" or "Racing Through Life." Every weekly episode, regardless of format, will include Race Picks - where our family make our picks for who we think will win the Cup Series race that weekend.

Join us on our family adventure into the worlds of racing, family, and podcasting.
