4th of July Weekend at The Brickyard

The NASCAR Cup Series raced this 4th of July Weekend at the historic Brickyard (Indianapolis Motor Speedway - July 5th). Until a late caution, it seemed like this race would end up, as a replay of last week's Pocono race, with Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick finishing 1 and 2. Unfortunately for Denny, he’ll have to wait another year for a chance at winning at the famed track.

Seems like everyone is talking about Hamilton - the Broadway hit that has taken the streaming world by storm. So for this week’s 6 Degrees of NASCAR Tony will connect Lin-Manuel Miranda to NASCAR in less than 6 Degrees of Separation. In Racing Through Life segment, we talk about how COVID-19 has rocked the NASCAR world, with Jimmie Johnson testing positive.

About the Podcast

Let's Go Racing Family Podcast
A family podcast dedicated to our view of life through the lens of racing and NASCAR.
The Let's Go Racing Family Podcast is about our love of NASCAR, travel, and just being a family. Our family includes Mom, Dad, and our three boys (Sebastian, Gio, and Johann).

We thought a podcast would be cool way for us to share our own opinions and tell our own stories.

We have different show formats that will alternate throughout the season (Race Recaps and Let's Go Racing Family Xtras). Race Recap episodes will feature our family discussing story lines from previous races. The Xtra episodes, will feature more variety segments, such as "6 Degrees of NASCAR - connecting pop-culture to NASCAR in less than 6 degrees of separation" or "Racing Through Life." Every weekly episode, regardless of format, will include Race Picks - where our family make our picks for who we think will win the Cup Series race that weekend.

Join us on our family adventure into the worlds of racing, family, and podcasting.
